This is Connect 4 with a twist. Connect 4 is a two-player game in which the players take turns dropping
colored discs into a vertically suspended grid. The pieces fall straight down, occupying the next
available space within the column. The object of the game is to connect four of your pieces vertically,
horizontally, or diagonally before your opponent.
we have 5 main components:(front ,back ,2 sides and base)
In order to have the final product we have several steps to do
Step 1:SolidWorks
first u need to know your parameters (width, length, thickness of the wood, raduis of the holes, spacing
and shape of joints),to do this you need to hand sketch the parts.
you need to take in your consideration the thickness of the wood u use because some parameters depend on
it as the width of the holes in the 2 sides u need to make it 1 mm bigger than ur wood's thickness
Step 2:RdWorks
save your files .DXF files in order to use it @ RdWorks.
Import your files.
Step 3:setting the type of cut
the colour on the left side means that all parts in black will have the same cut
Step 4:setting the power & speed
this step depend on the type of the lazer machine you are using. Here iam using min&max power 70
and speed is 30
Step 5:upload the .RD files on the machine
After u finish setting the power &speed u save your file (.rd) then u upload it on the machine
First u should set your orgin ,then u start cutting.
