First | Description

The brushes Organizer.. it is just a big box includes 4 small boxes (or 2) and these for the color tubes and all
and at the top there is a tall box having many circles with different sizes for brushes.

Some info about the project
- Machine used: Laser Cutter
- Material : Wood
- Thickness of Material :3 mm
- joints : Flexure and L joint

--------- The Process ---------

Step1 | Drafting & Testing

I chose two different types of joints for this project
1. L joint 2. Flexure
Normally the L joint is simple and easy to design and make, so i start by testing the flexures joints

I designed a peice of the wood 90mm lenght and 60mm width with the pattern of the jount , and 3mm thickness of the wood
and it came out pretty nice and so effective...

BUT as expected there is alot needs to be changed..
1. The pattern in the design has needs to change dimention
cause it was very small and each ractangle is super closer to the other that cause it to be broken
So i will change the distance between thee patterns from 0.5mm to 1.5mm
2. The power of the laser cutter, i used power of 30 so it kinda burnt the material so i would change it to 15
3. The speed of the machine was pretty slow i used speed of 200 so i would change it to 300

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then i start drafting the remaining parts with the real dimintion needed for the organizer..

And then part 2 which was the fourth face of the big main box

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

next i tried the joints to be assemble on Fusion 360

and then it came out pretty nice and the joints are well adjusted without glue..

Then i got a problem saving the real files as dxfs so i was paused till i find a solution....
